Nimitz class carrier deck with jet blast deflector

Carrier deck display base modeled on a Nimitz class flight deck at the catapult, with the jet blast deflector (JBD) behind the launch spot, for setting a finished modern US Navy jet on.
Pick MDF for a fully engraved deck, or MDF + nickel silver to get the star-pattern tie-down points as separate 0.2 mm laser-cut nickel silver parts that drop into pockets in the deck and need no painting.
Fits: Modern carrier jets in 1/72 and 1/48: F/A-18 Hornet and Super Hornet, F-14 Tomcat, EA-18G Growler, EA-6B Prowler, F-35C Lightning II.
Details: Deck size: 300×200 mm (1/72); 400×300 mm (1/48). Engraved catapult track, JBD panel lines and tie-down points; the JBD comes as separate laser-cut parts.
Assembly: Ships unpainted and unassembled. Fix the nickel silver parts with CA glue (not included) and prime the deck before painting.
Good to know: Paints, tie-down chains, figures and the aircraft are not included.
