Why turning the model matters mid-build
Wet glue joints don't like being handled. Checking the far side, adding a detail, or reaching a seam with a brush usually means lifting the model out. That risks a shift before the glue cures. A turntable solves this: the jig keeps holding the model, and you turn the whole setup instead.
How the BB-04 pairs with the BB-01
The BB-04 is a 200 mm plywood turntable with a 200×200 mm working field, cut from 3.6 mm birch plywood. It turns in fixed 5-degree steps, so it holds its position instead of drifting while you glue or paint. Place it under the BB-01, whose own working field runs 210×250 mm for scales 1/144 to 1/32. The model then turns with the jig sitting on top. The BB-04 alone has sold 109 units. Many builders start with the BB-01 and add the turntable once they need to reach around a build.
What's included when you buy them together
LMG sells the BB-01 and the BB-04 as two separate products, each with its own SKU. You add both to the cart. The BB-01 "with clamps" kit already includes a BB-27 clamp and a BB-38 clip for small parts. There is no single bundled SKU for this pair. Do I need the BB-04 to use the BB-01?
